- Avid Link will be installed when you install Avid Software if not, use the link below to download and install Avid Link
- After downloading and installing Avid Link, launch Avid Link, sign into your Avid account on Avid Link to check that your account is active.
- Avid Link will display what software is on your machine and if it is activated.
- Until your Avid software is activated, you will not see any active software.
- To activate Media Composer as a 30 trial use the third radio button on the Media Composer Activation tab inside Avid Link.
- You can use Media Composer as a full functioning version for 30 days.

Bassler Hall houses eight editing rooms, two digital media computer labs, two studios, a large control room, and 24 channel C|24 Pro Tools HDX suite. Bassler 131 is the Communication Equipment Room, (CER) is where students in media production classes are able sign out equipment.
Students currently taking production classes in the Communication and Theater Department are able to sign out edit rooms, Studio 1, Studio 2, Control Room 1, and the multitrack audio C|24 Pro Tools HDX room through the CER and CER student attendant. Bassler Hall production facilities are only available to students in broadcast production classes, MVP, MUTV, NBS, and SMPTE. Bassler labs are open to anyone during open lab times.
